(Shout out to ChrisCohenTV for providing the groundwork for this post. But I just felt that this needs to be said, and I don't want to hear "how much bullets does he need to die? I hit him 7 times!" all the time when I play EFT.The following is a guide for the ridiculously long crucible quest line offered by Lord Shaxx: I know that this post is a mess and not very well structurised, and I'm sorry for that. In the first half, a few bots he fights and he himself tank up to 20 bullets and hits, and they're still alive after that. ![]() The best video to illustrate this is JackFrag's 2019 Tarkov video (although you can see this abysmal TTK in every EFT video) - it's called Escape from Tarkov, 2.12.19. Aiming for the head won't help either - helmets can tank up to 3 bullets to the head, and even more low-grade rounds. 1400 roubles a shot is not sane, and I see someone use this round only once every 20 games. Let's not fool ourselves and say "aim for the head" or "use 7n39". Just for comparison - recent MW has a TTK of 250ms. Even if we don't (we will though) hit any limbs - that is almost 800ms TTK. If we step it up, and assume that your enemy uses a class 5 armor (which is my main type of armor), a perfect scenario is now an incredible 5 to 9 shots to kill just for one bodypart. And we're still talking about BT rounds a class 4 armor here. Even if we omit the fact that you can endlessly heal yourself back to full or almost full, it makes for almost a 600ms kill time for an AK. Sometimes even without armor I can tank up to 10 bullets in a match, and then just keep going. But in practice half of your bullets will be absorbed by limbs, making it at least a 6 shots to kill. On paper it doesn't sound too bad - 1 to 3 shots to kill someone. Let's assume that class 4 armor is the most popular class, and that everyone uses BT rounds. Whenever I feel like playing as a tank from Overwatch, I just pick a 6B and an Altyn.īut let's talk numbers. And when you're using a class 6 armor - you're basically immortal. and still be alive.Īccording to my tests, and various ammo tables, such as NoFoodAfterMidnight's, MOST of the bullets in the game will require up to 5 shots to kill a class 4 armor, and 5 to 9 for 5+ class armor.įurthermore, under the right circumstances, an unarmoured PMC can absorb up to 11 5.45 bullets and still be alive. And it's enjoyable and fun.īut whenever I play Tarkov - PMCs and bots can easily eat up to !!!10!!! bullets. ![]() Whenever I play any other tactical shooter - Squad, ArmA, Insurgency, or heck - even R6S or the recent MW - I know that 3 bullets is the maximum amount of bullets my enemy can absorb before dying. For me, TTK and armor in EFT have been the most painful topics since it's closed beta release.
